Il progetto fotografico “SAGNO IN POLAROID” di Riccardo Comi é nato con l’intento di fotografare e quindi immortalare in maniera indelebile le persone con cui Riccardo
ha stretto un legame durante i sei anni vissuti nel bel Paese di Sagno, una piccola frazione situata nel Comune di Breggia.

Insieme a questi ritratti, si uniscono scatti rubati tra le Vie del Paese che, come con le persone, Riccardo ha maturato un forte affetto.

In questi anni vi sono stati momenti belli e momenti difficili. La concretezza delle fotografie che verranno esposte faranno luce su alcuni attimi, colorati, nitidi, colmi di sorrisi. I
n altri, invece, vi farà da padrona la malinconia di un Paese con cui Riccardo ha condiviso tanto e tanto gli é stato dato, ma che dovrà lasciare per intraprendere
un nuovo capitolo della sua vita da sognatore nel Mondo.
Alcune fotografie saranno esposte singolarmente, altre in coppia formando degli splendidi dittici.

Riccardo ha eseguito il lavoro con una Polaroid SX70, la quale é stata costruita in diverse versioni dal 1972 al 1981.
La scelta di questo supporto è data dalla sua unicità in ogni singolo scatto.

“SAGNO IN POLAROID” by Riccardo Comi is a photographic project born from the desire to capture and immortalize the people with whom he
bonded during his six years in the picturesque village of Sagno, a small enclave in the Municipality of Breggia.

Alongside these portraits, the project features snapshots of the village streets—places that, much like the people, became deeply meaningful to him.

These years have been filled with both joyous and challenging moments. The photographs on display illuminate some of these experiences—vivid, colorful, and filled with smiles.
Others, by contrast, are imbued with the melancholy of a place that gave so much to Riccardo, just as he gave to it a place this world dreamer
must now leave behind as he sets out to embrace a new chapter of his life.
Some photographs stand alone, while others have been paired into striking diptychs.

Riccardo created this project using a Polaroid SX-70, a camera manufactured in various models between 1972 and 1981.
He chose this medium for its unique ability to produce singular, unrepeatable images with every shot.
